Social program
This information will be updated periodically. A rich social program will complete and enhance the ICNR2012 scientific program. The social program is open to participants and their accompanying persons. It will include, among others, a Welcome Cocktail on Tuesday 13, a Toledo Night Tour on Wednesday 14 and a Gala Dinner on Thursday 15 November 2012. On the mornings of Wednesday 14, Thursday 15 and Friday 16, three guided tours to Toledo are offered specially for the accompanying persons.Welcome Cocktail*
The Welcome Cocktail will take place on Tuesday 13, in the 'Palacio de Benacazon'. The main entrance dates back to the 14th century, with a typical Toledo-style patio and Mudejar-style architecture in both of the two rooms. The art gallery was inaugurated in 1972 through the efforts of the Cultural Section of the first bank in Toledo, with the goal of giving a space to artists from the city and the rest of the province.

Toledo Night Tour*
Toledo Night Tour will take place on Wednesday 14. Legends, stories and curiosities of Toledo. An overview of the city by bus and a walk around the city. Duration: 2 hours.

Gala Dinner*
The Gala Dinner will take place on Thursday 15, in the 'Cigarral de las Mercedes'. Surrounded by countryside, the Cigarral De Las Mercedes is located 5 km away from the historic centre of Toledo, with amazing view of the city as well as extensive gardens.

Toledo and its surroundings Guided Tours*
(specially for accompanying persons) Tour 4: 'D. Quixote'* (Wednesday 14, morning) The tour starts in Toledo and offers the famous windmills, the main squares, popular castles and architecture. The bus will visit the Almonacid castle, the town Mascaraque, the Peñas Negras Castle, Consuegra (with the famous windmills and castle). We will follow the tour to Campo de Criptana and its windmill. Duration: half-day
* 48€/person. The price includes bus, local guide, individual headphones, tickets for Consuegra Castle and Consuegra Windmill.
Tour 5: 'Celestina'* (Thursday 15, morning) The tour starts in Toledo and continues along the Tajo river to La Puebla de Montalban, visiting the Celestina Museum. We will follow the walking tour to the Franciscan Monastery and the Brujas alley, square of the town in the XV century. We will visit the Chapel of Christ, the Convent of the Conceptionist Nuns, the Palace of the Conde de Osuna y Uceda and the birthplace of Fernando de Rojas (Celestina author). Duration: half-day
